Praise the Lord! We received our update on Alex today. I can't post the pictures yet, but he looks wonderful. We found out that he had surgery in January and is doing very well. We may not have to get him surgery as we had planned after all. They also found out he has an allergy to a type of medication-good stuff to know, isn't it. We also learned that he was blessed with a loving foster family for part of his life, and we are so grateful to them.
The local adoptive families group gave me and another mom a toddler shower today. It was a great time, looking forward to bringing our little ones home. I've been so blessed to have the support of these friends from the beginning.
