We got to play with some friends from the local adoptive parents group. D had a great time until she was attacked by fire ants. Luckily I was standing next right next to her and brushed them off before they made it to her knees. Vicious creatures! You couldn't even see their mound, they must have been under the grass. She was bitten badly and cried pretty hard. I rushed her home for Benadryl but not so fast we didn't have time to stop for a watermelon icy from Bops.
